FREE for Card Exchange Participants

You do not have to participate in the card exchange to joins us, but we hope you do! It’s a fun-filled experiment in handmade greeting card peer pressure. Participants agree to produce 10 Holiday-themed greeting cards. Christmas. New Years. Kwanza. Hanukah. Winter. Whatever. These can be handmade, inkjet printed, screen printed, letterpressed, or crayon-ed. All 10 can be the same design, or you’re welcome to mix it up. Just make at least 10 that you’re proud of with envelopes to stuff them in.  To make arrangements please email Valecia Hopper.

As a card-exchange participant, you’ll get in free, PLUS, you’ll be able to select FIVE free cards, hand-made by your fellow triad creatives to keep/use/destroy/hug. From 6pm-7pm that evening, you’ll have first dibs on whichever five you like best, first-come, first-serve. They’ll be on display on the walls at Foothills (the holiday HANG… see what we did there?). We’ll all vote on a best-of-show, and you’ll get to take home at least five original design creations by your fellow Triad creatives. At 7pm, the remaining submitted cards will be available for sale to anyone and everyone at the event for $5/ea. We’ll also be selling limited-edition signed screenprints produced during our AIGA screen printing workshop for only $10/ea. These are GREAT gift ideas for creative-minded folks! Plus… even better, all proceeds from this event will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank for good holiday karma!

Please RSVP as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

Happy Holidays!
