Join AIGA Triad NC for the U360 Design Exhibition and Reception at Black Horse Studio as part of our Design Month. U360 is a celebration of the role print plays in today’s marketing mix and embraces excellence in communication, design, and execution of projects. This exhibit reflects a more holistic or all around assessment of the design project — from concept and writing, imagery and design, and quality of print and bindery execution. Come view the winning entries of this traveling exhibit.
About our speaker:
Creating handmade elements are good for the designer’s soul. It’s good for business too, as more people crave the textures, imperfections and warmth of hand-made objects, reconnecting them with the long line of artists before them and breaking out of the computer box and getting their hands dirty. Andy Kurtts, Design Manager of The Fresh Market, will walk the audience through a few real world examples from his work where he was able to incorporate handmade elements, as well as share ways to get your own hands dirty.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks provided.
