Prize for Innovation – Student Presentations

Tuesday, November 25, 2014
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

High Point University
Phillips Hall 120

You are invited to take part in a historic collaboration between the Art & Design Departments of N.C. A&T, GTCC, HPU and UNCG as students present innovative and provocative solutions for problems facing North Carolina’s future.

Over 50 students are participating in a unique competition through the Institute for Emerging Issues, uniting as small teams defining a pressing problem in our state, and ultimately presenting their ground-breaking solutions. From the migration of talent and technology away from NC, to our failing transportation infrastructure, to solutions for curbing violence in our schools, these teams have worked tirelessly to come up with something special to affect a positive change in North Carolina. We can’t wait for you hear what they have to say!

Each team will give a 5-7 minute presentation on their topic, beginning promptly at 5pm. Light hors d’oeuvres and snacks to follow.

We hope you can make it!
